Never ones to hold onto material, Atmosphere dropped a free EP on the 4th. Leak At Will is the title of the 7 song EP. Slug had this to say of the project with Ant: "nothing too serious, just smiles and cries. consider it another "thank you" for all of the support you have offered us over the years." I'm glad to see Atmosphere is still making a push for their '08 album, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold, because it definitely still deserves the attention. Their latest video, "Your Glass House," just premiered on MTVU. Watch what happens when binge drinking goes wrong in Slug & Ant's new vid.
The CunninLynguists are back at it with another strong track off of their upcoming album, Strange Journey Volume One. This song is called "Don't Leave (When Winter Comes)" and features Slug from Atmosphere. Says Kno of their upcoming albums: "Entitled Strange Journey Volume One and Strange Journey Volume Two, both full-length discs will be interconnected efforts dropped within months of each other and built around the concept of touring and travel. They feature guest spots from Killer Mike, Nappy Roots, Guilty Simpson, J-Zone, Mac Lethal and more." Props to Tunji for this.
Minneapolis, though it isn't the first city that comes to mind, has always had a respectable music scene (word to Prince). On this track, "Get It Right," Lil' Buddy brings along fellow Minneapolis natives Slug (Atmosphere) and Muja Messiah to rep for their city. The song will appear on Lil' Buddy's upcoming project, Lil Buddy McClain. Props to jon jon for the heads up.

The live versions really weren't doing this song justice. Here is the official video for Atmosphere's "You," off of When Life Gives You Lemons You Paint That Shit Gold (easily the winner of album title of the year). This track and a few others off the album still get burn. Video's cool, dude is nasty on that pocket sized skateboard.
We're a little late on this one, but this past friday we got an email from Mike who hit us with some real good concert footage from a June 18th show at the KoKo night club in London. Atmosphere were guests on the Conan O'Brien show last night where they performed their song "You" off of When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold. I think the track is one of the better songs on the album, although Slug should have sang the hook himself for the performance (watch the vid and I'm sure you will agree.) Spotted on 2dopeboyz .
