Jay-Z penned this year's NY anthem with "Empire State of Mind" featuring Alicia Keys. The video debuted today, and since it seems to be giving my Yanks good luck, I'll let this one bump 'til we get that ring (yeah, that'll make 27). The Blueprint 3 is in stores now. Video directed by Hype Williams.
So I may have to eat my words, after saying that Alicia Keys was sounding exactly the same on this new album (based on her first single). Alicia takes it to the left and kills it with her second single, a synth laden track entitled "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart." The song was produced by Jeff Bhasker, who it shouldn't surprise you to know also worked on Kanye's last album. The Element of Freedom will be out on December 1st.
