This past weekend, Rock The Bells made a stop off in NY, so of course I had to attend. Once again the show did not disappoint, and had many highlights, including The Legendary Roots Crew, Wu-Tang, Common, Reflection Eternal, and more. However, one of my personal highlights was when Nas brought AZ out to join him on stage. I was a little mad that AZ had a F'd up mic for most of the set, but he held it down regardless. Above, watch them perform "Life's A Bitch." After the jump they connect for "Phone Tap" and "Affirmative Action." Courtesy of Rap Radar.
Speaking of trios you'd think would only appear in your dreams (pardon me), how about Ghostface, AZ, and Inspectah Deck on a track together? I don't know where all the press has been for this, but on June 30th the Wu-Tang: Chamber Music album is dropping. This album will be pairing Wu members with 90's vets over music from Brooklyn Soul band The Revelations. I definitely need this album in my life.

I'm posting this song not only because it's dope, but to reiterate my point that AZ is one of the greatest to do it. Even on a song where he's talkin' bout "Kicks" he flips it in a way few others are capable of. Don't get me wrong, Raekwon will always be that dude, but some of y'all need to revisit AZ's solo work and the many guest spots where he's bodied your favorite rappers. "Whips & Kicks" appears on Rae and DJ Absolut's mixtape, Blood On The Chef's Apron (buy it from Rae's myspace). Only Built 4 Cuban Links II will be in stores August 11th.
On November 11th Koch will be droppin' AZ's previously unreleased album, Final Call: The Lost Tapes. Some of the material already hit the net years back. Here is one of the standout tracks from the album called, "Magic Hour" featuring CL Smooth. Follow me after the jump for the tracklisting.
