The homie 6th Sense is back with another new project, It's A 6th Sense Mixtape Yo!! Volume 1. After supplying the fans with free music for years, his latest project filled with mostly unheard material can be purchased for just $5. 6th is on the mic as well as behind the boards throughout the tape. Check out the stream and tracklisting after the jump, and if you're feelin' it, make the purchase.
If you're not familiar, The Noisettes are a London trio who on any given track can give you a mix of punk, pop, blues-rock, jazz, funk, soul or electro. The band from the UK is preparing the U.S. release of their sophomore album, Wild Young Hearts next Tuesday (9/22). To help support the LP, Mick Boogie and Terry Urban reached out to OKP to co-present this project, The Noisettes versus Kanye West. The project will have Mick and his stable of producers redoing The Noisettes vocals over samples from Kanye's 808s and Heartbreak (playing on the common theme of "heart" in the titles). The final project will be ready in a few weeks. For now, here's the first leak "Upset Lockdown" ("Don't Upset The Rhythm" x "Love Lockdown") re-sampling by 6th Sense, Drums by Apple Juice Kid.

Here is The Kid Daytona's new video "Air Born" featuring Bun B. This song appeared on Daytona's last project, Come Fly With Me. Says director Derek Pike of the vid: "...the beat which is produced by 6th Sense has this real mellow floaty vibe to it so I knew I wanted to shoot the majority of this video with someone or something floating in midair. Since shooting in outerspace wasn’t in the budget, I had to settle for NYC. Luckily, Daytona knew someone here on earth that could defy gravity for us, EBC star Africa. We shot the whole video at a little park downtown, no permits. Aside from having to work around screaming kids at camp, and a basketball leagues scheduled game everything went surprisingly smooth."
The homie Outasight is making that push for his debut album, From Here To Eternity. Today, he released the first official leak, "Brand New Day," produced by 6th Sense. This is just one of many bangers you can expect from his LP. Check after the jump for a studio session of Ou, 6th Sense, Kenny Burns, and Cook Classics all vibin' out to the track.

New music from the homie Outasight "Everything's Alright" produced by 6th Sense and "featuring" Stevie Wonder. Yes, he had the audacity to chop up a Stevie Wonder classic... but can you really hate on this song? I can't, though I do wish the track was longer. Above is the latest episode of OU's "Rolling Wit Me" video series. In this edition we get coverage of OU's recent show at Santos Party House NYC. I still have to upload my footage from the rest of that show featuring Fresh Daily, Brittany Bosco, and Tiara Wiles.
You've seen the homie 6th Sense snatching up production credits all year long, with verses here and there as well. This joint, "Thoughts," is his first self-produced track that he's rhymin on in '09.
A few months back, Cook Classics, 6th Sense, Outasight, Tunji, Nieve, and TiRon all stopped by Vimby's L.A. based compound for some mid-day freestyles. Watch the clip, Table For Six, with 6th and Cook on the boards as the rappers give up some dope verses.
Now it's time to let some rappers do what they do. Here we have the latest edition of Ruby Hornet TV's Freestyle In The Park series featuring The Kid Daytona, 6th Sense, & Outasight. Daytona's brim is distracting as hell, but enjoy them bars.
I'm far from an 808s and Heartbreak hater... but that song "Amazing" wasn't really for me. The homie 6th Sense passed me over this acoustic cover his boy Mike Maven did for the song. I like the new life it gives the track - what do y'all think? Look out for some new projects from Maven coming soon with the help of 6th.
