Not even in its second season, the Stranger Things creators are already dreaming up the show's third and (likely final) fourth.

A new Variety interview with Matt and Ross Duffer, bearded brains behind Netflix's smash sci-fi nostalgia blitz, Stranger Things, finds the brothers looking well beyond the imminent arrival of the show's second season (October 27th.) With the livelihood of their adolescent stars in mind, The Duffers confirm that Netflix has already green-lit a third season of the show and that they'll probably do one more after that.

“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out"

They've also revealed that the end-goal of the series is to see the supernaturally-plagued youngins finally break free of the Indiana town at the epicenter of the show's action. How that comes about has yet to be determined (though, if it's a go, the script is probably done and approved.) All of which is to say, that we haven't seen the last of Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will. Peep the season two trailer for Stranger Things below and get ready to have even more questions by the end of October.
