Stevie Wonder & Ariana Grande's "Faith" Duet Is Soulful Pop Fun

Stevie Wonder Performing At The Prince Tribute In St. Paul, Minneapolis, On October 13, 2016

Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande have collaborated on a song for a forthcoming movie.

Titled "Faith," the upbeat, finger snapping track kicks off with Stevie before going into an undeniably catchy hook with Grande.

"I got faith in you baby, I got faith in you now/And you've been such a, such a good friend of me/Know that I gotta love you somehow (love you somehow)/I met you, hallelujah, I got faith," the pair sing.

A snippet of the song originally dropped a couple months back, following Grande's appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The duet appears on the soundtrack to the upcoming Illumination Entertainment animated family film Sing, which drops in theaters on December 21.

The movie is set in an animal inhabited world, where a koala named Buster Moon is putting on a singing competition to help a rundown theater return to prominence. The five lead contestants: a conman mouse (Seth MacFarlane), a teenage elephant with stage fright (Tori Kelly), a hardworking mother of 25 piglets (Reese Witherspoon), a gangster gorilla (Taron Egerton), and a punk rock porcupine (Scarlett Johansson). Matthew McConaughey and John C. Reilly also star in the movie.

The film also touts that this is the first song that Wonder has contributed to a film in more than 25 years – when he crafted the soundtrack for Spike Lee's Jungle Fever.

Grande had hinted about the collaboration's imminent arrival this past Wednesday, when she tweeted about the track on Twitter.

"I'm on a song with Stevie Wonder & it comes out soon," she wrote. "I also really can't believe that what I just said is an actual thing."

Stevie has been pretty busy recently. He serves as one of several guests on Common's latest album Black America Again, singing on the album's title track, and he served as the headliner for the Prince Tribute that happened in Minneapolis.
