True-schoolers take head! West Coast legends Souls Of Mischiefwill be taking it to the stage next Thursday at NYC's Le Poisson Rouge to celebrate the release of their Adrian Younge-produced There Is Only Now LP, which hits on Tuesday. Concert-goers will be treated to a proper display of both analog and digital arrangements with Younge's 13-piece ensemble in tow (!) and the album's narrator, the mighty Ali Shaheed Muhammad, on the ones and twos. LA will be getting a bit deeper of a line-up, as The Pharcyde, Phife Dawg, Venice Dawn, Blu & Exile, DJ Rhettmatic and House Shoes will all be gracing the bill alongside the foundational Golden Coast collective.
