Sonnymoon_KaliIf you're a rap kid you might recognize the name Anna Wise from her feature on Kendrick Lamar's "Real" off of gkmc. But if you check OKP on the regular, you might also recognize her as the singing half of the extremely talented Boston duo Sonnymoon. The other half is producer Dane Orr, who contributes his talents to the music and video for the track "Kali" off of their recently released eponymous EP. The song itself starts off with Wise's soft, layered sound and slowly builds to a grandiose peak where jazz and transcendentalism seem to meet. The video matches the feeling, slowly leading towards a blast of colorful emotion to compliment the highest highs of Anna Wise's voice.
