Solange releases, "Saint Heron," a compilation featuring Jhene Aiko and Kelela
Solange drafts her favorite artists for the Saint Heron compilation - the inaugural annual release from her Saint Records label - including contributions from Jhené Aiko, Cassie and Kelela. The 12-track project curated by Solange is put together to highlight the burgeoning talents pioneering the contemporary renaissance in r&b. Solange tapped New Orleans native Rashaad Newsome for the project's artwork, which reflects the multi-tiered genre bending approach of the recording artists and producers included in the compilation. Sampha, BC Kingdom, Iman Omari and Petite Noir are amongst the other artists featured on the project packed with original joints and unreleased tracks. Solange preps fans for the arrival of the project with the "Go All Night" - the lead single from Kelela. Check the track below to listen to the first song from the Saint Heron compilation.
