Last Friday, the NYC supergroup/musician's collective, Snarky Puppy, released their much-anticipated Family Dinner Volume 2 LP; a follow-up to their Grammy-winning first installment. As a warm-up to the album (which y'all should go ahead and pick up immediately) the many-man-and-woman crew -- led by bass-man, Michael League -- has graced us with the premiere of a live, in-studio recording of the full-melt funk romp, "Liquid Love," featuring the soaring vocal talents of one, Chris Turner. The composition commences with a bloom of strut-worthy frequencies, dissolving into a creeping Dilla-esque vamp with Turner's voice stretching out and guiding the way through and through.
