The Slum Village survivors (for this track, T3, Illa J and Young RJ) come through with a next video off their Dirty Slums project with Mick Boogie. “Reppin’” is built around a weapons-grade drum break and weirdly uplifting electric guitar progression and the video follows suit, the camera tracking our heroes as they keep their eyes on the ground in front of them, moving through the iron gates, tall grass and bulletproof plexi of their daily operations but periodically pulling back and up to contemplate the infinite blue of the midwestern sky.
