Slum Village Shares A Sun-Soaked Clip For "Expressive" f. BJ The Chicago Kid & Illa J (prod. J Dilla)
As June 16th approaches and Slum Village continues to ready their eighth studio album Yes!, we're getting another glimpse at the record that keeps on giving, even before its release. While we were treated to the latest posthumous J Dilla production early last month, "Expressive" just got a few sights to accompany the wavy cut, which features bars from Illa J and a D'lightful hook from BJ The Chicago Kid. The visual is an ode to independent women, following a pair of gals enjoying a kush and sun-kissed day at the beach, catching all of the vibes from SV's buoyant, cooled-out number. The follow-up to "Push It Along" and "E(I)GO" is another A1 performance from the Detroit camp, who will host features from Black Milk, Bilal, Phife Dawg, De La Soul and more on their forthcoming Yes!
