'Simpsons' To Air Special Hip-Hop Episode With Common, Snoop Dogg, RZA + More

A few months back we got word that The Simpsons would be doing a special hip-hop episode. The hour long episode will be titled “The Great Phatsby" after F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel The Great Gatsby, but with a hip-hop twist. As the premiere of the episode nears, more news has come out regarding it, primarily that rappers Snoop Dogg, RZA, and Common will be involved. The rappers will play themselves and do voice-overs on the special hour long episode. The Simpsons' “The Great Phatsby” will premiere in January. Taraji P. Henson and Keegan-Michael Key will also be lending their voices to the episode. The bulk of the special will be set in Mr. Burn's Springfield Hamptons summer mansion with Homer, narrating.
