Winding down the North American leg of what has already been a massive world tour, Shamir brought his particular brand of minimalistic electro r&b to The Late Show last night, marking a his debut on the program with a high-energy performance of his Ratchet album-cut "On The Regular." With a full band in-tow, the Vegas native dazzled the crowd and late-night audience, commencing his performance as one amongst many contemplative Shamirs, then joining his ensemble and erupting into a full-blown party akin to the Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense performance with more vibrant touch.
