Schoolboy Q Speaks On Nate Dogg's Legacy, Tupac Conspiracies + More w/ MONTREALITY

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Schoolboy Q had himself a casual and candid exchange with the good folks of MONTREALITYdelving into his childhood, career, bankroll and some of the West Coast's greats. The interview begins as most do, rapping about his early years, favorite video games (Call Of Duty all day) cartoon characters, how we spent his first big check (clue: starts with a "w" ends with "eed") and what he believed himself to be in a former life (pimpin' since pimpin'.)

Puffy goes on to speak to the power of the gangstafied croon of the one and only Nate Dogg, who he claims could make the most ratchet ish into something beautiful and understated. Then his inner conspiracy theorist is put to work, touching on what he thinks happened to Tupac. The answer is a bit underwhelming, but at least grounded in reality. Tupac got shot. Someone knows who did it. That's really all there is to it. So if you were looking for the definitive explanation or a first hand account of chilling with Pac in Cuba, look elsewhere. Watch Groovy Q tell some tales with MONTREALITY below and cop his breakthrough record Oxymoron via iTunes to peep what all the fuss is about.
