Santigold
Last time we got a new Santigold video, she got some help form her famous friends (as well as some clones of hers). This time around, Santi’s co-stars come in the form of some shadow dancing puppets for her new video “Banshee.” The video’s director, Ari Marcopoulos explains to the New York Times:
I have made shadow puppet videos before, but I’ve never made a puppet that was a portrait of someone (besides myself)... It’s been a few years now, but the last video I made shows one puppet being tortured and set on fire — so this video is a bit more cheerful.”
