RZA Struts His Piano Chops In New Apple Watch Ad

These days, The Wu-Tang Clan's principal architect RZA can be found doing just about anything his heart desires. He's landed directorial duties in several new film projects, released a new album with System Of A Down bass-man Shavo Odadjian, lent a hand to new records from Ghostface Killah and Raury and even chimed in on the unspoken greatness of soul music legend Syl Johnson

But it's certainly been a minute since Robert Fitzgerald Diggs had his own close-up of sorts. That is until today, where we can find RZA diddling behind a Steinway Piano while simultaneously attempting to outbid someone on a vintage Moog in a new commercial for the Apple Watch. Oh, the magic of 2015, where Flying Lotus, Leon Bridges and now RZA can all find commonplace in a tech giant's ad campaign for products most of us can't afford (and certainly don't need, for that matter). And while we'd all probably prefer to see the RZA/Apple connection manifest in the form of a Shaolin-styled Beats 1 program, I guess this'll do.

Watch RZA strut his piano chops in the new Apple Watch ad below and hold tight for updates on whatever he tries his hand at next. Sculpture perhaps?
