Ryan Leslie connects politic (ditto) with Raekwon on this new jam "Riviera Flow," a nice balance of breezy soul (the beat sounds like it samples the chord progression from "Wanna Be Where You Are"?) and Shaolin grime. Even Les' rap style hits closer to home than his usual steez (usual steez = surprisingly on-point, but sounding like he's proving that he can rap like Jay and Ye rather than finding his own voice). By contrast, these bars are so charmingly naive ("my Tunisian girl, she super-hot / super luxury breakfas'es on the super-yacht") they're almost "Rappers Delight." The full video-album of Les Is More is slated for release in October, so presumably we'll get a closer look at this Tunisian hotgal by that time. Hotel /motel /luxury chateau....
