Hi. I’m Dantana. I work at Okayplayer (since Feb. 2000). This weekend I’m going to Rotterdam, Holland for the Buma Rotterdam Beats festival and the State Awards (Dutch Hip-Hop Awards). I’m lucky. I’m participating on a panel, Inside The Online Revolution; On The Blog! (15.30–16.30, room 4, this Saturday if you’re gonna be there!). I intend to learn a lot. Action Bronson performs in Holland for the first time, Charles Bradley has a sold-out show, and the homie Om’mas Keith of Sa-Ra Creative Partners (and who’s production credits include The Throne, Fank Ocean, Jill Scott, John Legend, Erykah Badu, more) will be teaching a masterclass on production along side British future soul revelation Szjerdene as part of the Next Beats program.
