The trend for musicians nowadays seems to be landing an acting debut, and Robin Thicke is taking the leap, too. The singer has scored a role alongside Jamie Presley in indie flick Abby in the Summer. The movie will revolve around Presley (naturally) with Thicke playing the former love who steps back into her life at the wrong (right) moment. The movie also features Joey Lauren Adams, Steve Agee, Frances Conroy and Tygh Runyan as Presley's preoccupied husband. Shooting starts in Los Angeles this week.
