The Robert Glasper Experiment covered "Get Lucky" - Daft Punk's song of the summer at the Newport Jazz Festival on August 3rd. The live recording is the latest of the Experiment's awesome covers to rise to the surface, featuring Casey Benjamin's appropriately mechanical vox; a minor detail that isn't likely to be lost on The Robots. The Experiment shared the bill at Newport with a laundry list of stellar acts including Jon Batiste and Stay Human, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Gregory Porter, Eddie Palmieri and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Their performances have been recorded and preserved for those who couldn't make it out to Newport for the festival or just want to relive the experience of being there.
