Rhymefest Robbed, Tweets Video Of Police Mistreatment While Reporting
It’s been a few years since we last saw Rhymefest on these pages, but the Chicago emcee certainly hasn’t been sitting around idle. Rhymefest recently released, In My Father’s House, a new documentary about the rapper’s reunion with his estranged, homeless dad. After premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival in NY this past April, In My Father’s House is set to premiere nationwide this Friday October 9th (check the list of screenings here). We get a condensed version of what the film has to offer with this new Konee Rok directed video for “Lost and Found.” Says Rhymefest of the song/video: "I think honest themes about family and vulnerability are missing from hip-hop and I hope to open up the book to that chapter with this song.” Watch he video below, and look for In My Father’s House at a theatre near you this Friday.
