Just last week, Dublin's native son Rejjie Snow graced us with an ice-cold reimagining of Jill Scott's classic "He Loves Me" to give you a proper dose of love jones just before you settled into the weekend. Today, Snow resurfaces with a new, cleaner take of his woozy boogie ballad "Blakkst Skn," featuring production from Kaytranada and lustful, lilting hook from fellow UK vocalist Rae Morris. While the "original" track was indeed produced by the north-of-the-border beat-freaker, Kaytra spruced this thing up a bit to give it even longer legs. Snow proves to be a dynamic presence, effortlessly transitioning from cooled-out croon to more rugged love raps at the drop of a dime and Kaytra, of course, provides a slick synth-soaked sonic suite to rock.
