Red Bull Music Academy's 2013 New York City takeover year continues on with next week's Culture Clash event. Four of New York City's leading DJ crews in reggae/dancehall, hip-hop, electronic, and tropical bass will face off on four stages at Roseland Ballroom on May 9th. This year's competitors are Max Glazer of the Federation Sounds podcast and some of the heaviest dancehall parties in the 5 boroughs, Trouble & Bass, Just Blaze and Young Guru will represent for hip-hop, and Que Bajo?! will show off their blend of cumbia, moombahton and Latin-inspired sounds. Unfortunately with all of that talent, only one crew can be crowned winner, and the audience will decide!
Roseland Ballroom (329 W. 52nd St) doors will open at 6pm and the show will start at 8pm. Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster!
