The Tay-K saga continues.

RapperTay-K's request for bond has been denied by a state district judge.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Judge Wayne Salvant said that Tay-K, who was 16 when he was allegedly involved in the fatal 2016 shooting of 21-year-old Ethan Walker, may have his defense team appeal the decision.

"I believe if you are fortunate enough to have a bond, that you are compelled to follow the law," Salvant said. "And if you don't follow the law and it's shown that you're not following the law, then you're not entitled to another bond. I don't care how old you are."

Born Tamar McIntyre, the 17-year-old is currently in prison for his involvement in multiple murder cases. He was arrested in June after he removed his ankle monitor and fled Texas. He created his viral song, "The Race" on the day he made his escape. "The Race" debuted at No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned the Texas-born rapper co-signs from hip-hop heavyweights, including Donald Glover, who used the song in the season two premier of Atlanta.

Salvant cited other crimes Tay-K was suspected of, including additional instance of robbery and murder, and alluded to the viral success of "The Race."

It's my understanding that people throughout this country have 'Free Tay-K signs up or "goto" funds to fund his defense and this court has a problem with that. I don't know what this country has become when people can go out and allegedly commit heinous crimes and be glorified for it.
