Range Da Messenga Hezekiah

Last we heard from Southwest Virginia singer/emcee and “dreadlocked philosopher,” Range Da Messenga, he was lending his vocals to the criminally underrated Ishe + Hezekiah Project track, “Pressure.” Today, Range hooks back up with Hezekiah for a 3-track digital-maxi single. Here we have the first video off the project “Gone” featuring Hez on the boards. “‘Gone’ is Range’s appeal to value the love you share with another while it is still present; the quintesential ‘you don’t know what you got ’til it’s gone’… with a twist.” Video directed by BGNB.

I haven’t been hyperbolic about music since…okay I won’t date myself, but this right here is soul music. Range has polish and style usually only seen in music long left to a different generation. He is smooth without being unduly arrogant and allows his gift to speak for itself. …And speak it does. This is something I can jam to while cooking, writing, or roaming and experience a different feeling in each situation! multilayered. This my friend, is music! peace and blessings.

Range! This is great! Awesome! Fantastic! But, honestly, I’m not surprised at all. Range = Talent, REAL Music!

I absolutely LOVE this song and the video is wonderful as well. The lyrics really speak to me and the track itself demands instant head bobbing. I can’t wait to hear more of that beautiful voice. Range is amazing!

    This is that newness.
An uplifting, different view of Rhythm & Blues, or as I say,
    Rhythm & Greens (R&G).
    Keep on b.
