TV personality Quddus premiered a new Q SiDe webisode this week featuring Mateo, D.A. Wallach from Chester French and actress Janina Gavankar from True Blood -- three artists on the rise. Mateo and Quddus take a walk around a gallery to discuss the art of simplicity, Alicia Keys and his music process. "I think it's the best body of work I've done so far," he says about his recent mixtape Suite 823. D.A. addresses interracial love through his "aesthetic taste" for black women and controversial footage in Chester French's video for "Black Girls." Quddus got to go behind the scenes with Randy Jackson signed Janina who apparently can "make Imogen Heap rap." We get a sneak peak during the filming for the new music video for her single "Waiting for Godot." Inspired by the actual play in which two men contemplate life and death whilst waiting for a man who never comes, she shares personal details that the song itself is about waiting for a sign from her father who passed away. OKP is looking forward to Quddus' next webisode to feature Santigold but for now, check out the series premiere below.
