Quadron releases new single "Hey Love"

Okayplayer favorites Quadron dropped their new single “Hey Love” in time for Valentine’s Day. Back from a brief hiatus – a break that included inking a deal with Sylvia Rhone‘s Vested In Culture label – Coco O. and Robin Hannibal emerged from the kitchen with a bass-heavy pop track that sticks to their penchant for love songs but steps away from their trademark sound (the sound of melting sugar) and steps into the crowd at the club. An offering that shows the pair have a few more tricks up their sleeves, is it possible that Quadron’s sound is moving in a new direction and “Hey Love” is just the beginning? You be the judge.

I’m all for progression but I don’t know I’m kind of dissapointed. Their debut gave me life. I’m still looking forward to the full release just crossing my fingers that this is the “accessible sounding first single” and it gets back into smoother territory 🙂

To be completely honest I just don’t care about electronic music.Everybody with a laptop trying to be a star.. I want bands playing music. Different completely original live music, not the same rock bands. Oh also the music have to sound tight and orchestrated like beats or old music.. Jaja !! Yeah.
