With an intimate solo tour in the outback now behind him, Prince seems to have his sights set on The Bay Area for the stateside debut of his Piano And A Microphone tour. This weekend, The Purple One will descend upon Oakland's Paramount Theater for two back-to-back shows of stripped-down musical merriments on Sunday, February 28th. If his Australian tour dates were any indication, fans can expect Prince to perform songs that span his entire four decade career, reworking them all to fit the sleek and minimal theme of the tour.
According to The San Francisco Gate, the show's are currently scheduled for 7PM and 10PM this Sunday with tickets sales underway at this very moment via Ticketmaster.
