Prince's Electric 2004 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Performance Surfaces In Full

When one looks back at Prince's 2004 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction, the immediate recall is always that scorching all-star jam, where he lined-up with the likes of Tom Petty, Steve Winwood and the late George Harrison's son, Dhani, to blaze through the slow-burning Beatles classic, "While My Guitar Gently Sleeps." If you've ever seen that clip, you know P stole the show, tossing his guitar to the air as his supporting players stood with their jaws dropped in awe. But what often goes unspoken is Prince's breakout performance from the induction ceremony, which was just as lively as that all-star jam, if not even more of a treat to the devout purple patrons of the world. Until today, a recording of that performance has been as hard to track down as any number of Prince's bootlegs, but now you can see The Purple One do what he do so damn well for yourself, courtesy of the internets, of course. Watch as Prince performs "Lets Go Crazy," "Sign O The Times," Sam & Dave's "Soul Man" and his '86 hit "Kiss" live at 2004 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony down below. Hold tight as we continue to compile all of the internet's buried purple treasures in the weeks ahead.
