President Donald Trump Says LaVar Ball’s Son LiAngelo “Should Still Be In Jail”
Days after President Donald Trump touted his role in the release of three UCLA basketball students, he comes back with another diss aimed at LaVar Ball.
LaVar Ball recently slammed President Donald Trump after the latter touted his role in the release of LiAngelo Ball, LaVar’s son, and two other UCLA basketball students who were arrested for shoplifting in China.
“Who?” Ball told ESPN when asked about Trump’s involvement in the situation. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.” LaVar’s words clearly affected Trump’s ears, who felt insulted that he was not given the proper credit for dealing with the international incident.
Even Trump’s own social media director, Dan Scavino, had words for the Ball family, tweeting Saturday afternoon, “[LiAngelo] would be in China for a long, long, long time without the President’s assistance.” To continue his aggressive online attack against black men and women, Trump took to Twitter about an hour ago to share his own thoughts on the Ball x China situation.
Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!

Really? You are that vain and shallow that you would say such a thing. Easy to try and slander some kids for making a mistake, but unable to share your own skeletons with the people (or your taxes). The kids, LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill, all made reference of thanks to Trump at a news conference held once they were back in the U.S., but obviously that is not enough to the Orange Mound of Hair and Lies.
All three players have been suspended from the UCLA basketball team indefinitely, and articles of impeachment have been filed on Donald Trump. So, thank you and go away, Mr. President.
