PHONY PPL Want All The Women In The Video For "Baby, Meet My Lover"

Brooklyn's own PHONY PPL come through with a lighthearted clip for their latest single "Baby, Meet My Lover" from their absolutely stellar Yesterday's Tomorrow LP. The video -- directed by Antonella Alberti (Antodope) -- finds the fellas getting on the good-foot as they audition dimes for their own video, getting swept up in the gushing and generally having themselves a ball. It perfectly mirrors the feel-good, two-step friendly vibes they continually push out, which is precisely what Yesterday's Tomorrow brings to the table; sleek and sunny sonic compositions that have a live, potent feel oozing from the seems. All of which has gotten them co-signs galore in the Brooklyn mainstay community, including Theophilus London, Joey Bada$$ (who showed up at their album release party at SOBs and burned the damn stage down) and a slew of others.
