Pete Rock and Kanye West Appear To Be Cooking Up Some New Music

Nearly 30 years in the game and Pete Rock is still on a roll. This summer he was featured on De La Soul's And The Anonymous Nobody alongside Estelle on the lush and gorgeous "Memory Of ... (US)," the video for which landed just a few hours back. Then just last week, he dropped his collaborative Don't Smoke Rock album with Harlem's own Smoke DZA. And just in case you haven't had enough of the mighty PR, he's just teased his involvement in Kanye's much-anticipated Turbo Grafx 16 project in a clip that shows the camera panning across the studio as a righteous soul selection bumps through the tweeters. The video was posted to Pete Rock's Instagram with the caption "Playing 45s in da lab with Kanye West," before granting us a quick glimpse at what appears to be a track list, which you can see below. It should be noted that each track is actually the title of a video game, which could mean that this is actually a list of samples, as KanyeToThe has noted.

There's really no telling what's to come of all this, but there is a certain joy in knowing that Pete Rock and Kanye West are back at it. Peep the videos down below and stay tuned for updates.
