Directed by RJ Sanchez (Travis Scott, Lil’ Yachty) brings the focus to Peruvian singer-songwriter A.CHAL in his video for his first single, “To The Light”.

After premiering the video on Billboard — A.CHAL and RJ risked everything to make this video happen. From filming in off-limit locations in-and-around the city of Trona in central California and near Death Valley National Park — these two were able to get into a well-known Catholic church and record around the Trona Pinnacles, a notable rock formation.

“From the stories I’ve read the desert has always been a place where a person would find themselves at their barest human state, on path to what would become a transformational experience. Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, and so on, have all wondered the desert for answers,” A.CHAL said in a released quip. “In this visual we chose the desert, as it symbolically represents where I’m at. Though I have support from others and not alone in my journey as an artist.”

Facing the challenges and not ignoring his own greatness, “To The Light” visually enables A.CHAL to enhance his illumination through music. Once the artist and director figured out their idea, they threw themselves into the process, making “To The Light” an intriguing, real-life story to check out.

Watch the video below and keep an eye out for A.CHAL’s debut album, Welcome to GAZI, which will be available on vinyl + digital DL card on April 22. Get it now because there will only be 750 vinyl copies pressed.
