For months now, Rick & Morty fans have been holding tight for an update on the show's anxiously-anticipated third season. Late last year, co-creator, Dan Harmon, held a "Development Meeting," where a read through from a presumed upcoming episode was held, finally seeing the space-trotting (anti) heroes weathered by their otherworldly travels.

Yesterday, a video of what appeared to be yet another peak into the weird, wild and wonderful worlds of the duo hit the internets with vengeance. Sadly, the forty-five-second video is anything but that. Instead, the clip compiles snippets from various Rick & Morty episodes to the tune of, you guessed it, Rick Astley's troll-the-world 1987 classic, "Never Gonna Give You Up." Basically a BaracksDubs masterpiece with more more bite. Those still hoping for a swift return from Rick, Morty and The Sanchez Family can find solace in the fact that writer, Mike McMahan, tweeted out a photo of his script for the season three premiere, though there's still no premiere date attached.

Watch Adult Swim execute a perfect rick-roll in the clip below. Keep your eyes on for updates on the return of Rick & Morty in the months ahead.
