Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Half Of A Yellow Sun is getting the silver screen treatment with Oscar nominee/12 Years A Slave star Chiwetel Ejiofor and Thandie Newton in the picture's focal roles and Biyi Bandele at the helm as director. The film adaptation will do its best to do right by Adichie's Biafran wartime novel, which chronicles the war's effect on Nigeria's citizens through the story of 2 sisters who have recently returned from their English educations to a country torn to pieces by Nigeria's Civil War.
