After Five Years, Pac Div Returns With New Work For The Masses

Remember Pac Div? The outrageous, super dope trio from California are back after five years in hiatus.

DJ Booth, in a new sit down chat with the group, got Like, Mibbs and BeYoung to announce the release of their new album, First Baptist, which is slated to hit sometime this year.

The project will feature 10 tracks with contributions from DJ Dahi, Swiff D, and Soulection‘s esta. “It’s done, it’s about to come out. We’re thinking spring time,” Like said to writer Andy James. “We’re gonna give away a song, too. Man, we’re excited. There’s a lot of high energy songs. It’s like we never left.”

Pac Div has certainly been missed. In the time that has passed, Mibbs has dropped a string of solo and collaborative projects, BeYoung has focused on his family, while Like has branched out to produce songs for artists such as Anderson .Paak, Joey Bada$$ and Kendrick Lamar. He was also nominated for a Grammy.

We’re hoping that these boys from the West Coast are back now for good.
