The francophone funk doctor Onra takes it all the way back with "Gonna Make You Mine" his latest offering from Colette's upcoming compilation album French Kiss. Its a top-down boogie-funk gem that seems to have been conceived entirely through his top-tier MPC wizardry, claiming that nothing else was used on the track. The french beat-making maestro's 2010 jump Long Distance is one of the finest compilations of 80's funk chops that exists and should be a cornerstone in any and all record collections.
