I'd say for most folks in the beat scene, news of a fresh project from Parisian funk futurist Onra is a warm and welcome announcement. We received word of O's forthcoming Fundamentals LP (his first full-length since 2010's Long Distance) last just a few weeks back with the arrival of his blazing lead-off single "We Ridin'", featuring Daz Dillinger and frequent collaborator Olivier Daysoul. Today we have another fine offering from the record in the vibe-heavy, Chuck Inglish-assisted cut "So Long," which arrives in perfect time to score your high holiday festivities.

Wavy and full of slow-burning goodness, "So Long" is loud in all the right ways. A weeping synth and subterranean low-end hold down the backdrop for Inglish to spin his hazy verbiage, marking yet another choice drop from a record we're already brimming with excitement for. Fundamentals (which is wholly inspired by the '90 hip-hop and r&b of Onra's youth) will be arriving stateside and abroad on May 15th via All City Dublin and is available to preorder on iTunes today. Burn the day away with Onra, Chuck Inglish and their latest drop "So Long" below.
