Will Smith hangs with Questlove & fam at Fela!
T.I. and The Game-affiliated producer La Mar “Mars” Edwards of the 1500 or Nothin crew let it slip recently that a new Will Smith LP is on his roster of upcoming projects. The topic came up–maybe inadvertently, since Smith was apparently on the other line–with XXL Mag, who printed this quote:
We’re working on Will Smith, bringing him back. That’s actually him on the other line right now. Snoop’s daughter, we just put out her first single. We’re doing the whole album. Mario wants me to do a mixtape with him, we’re working on that. I’m working on Ashanti. We’re just working on as much as possible.
In other Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince updates, Jeff’s track “Notorious” for Toronto songbird Ayah recently got re-Phillified with a remix featuring Freeway, Tona & Dosage (stream/download after the jump).
