OKP News: Janelle Monae Announces 2 New LPs for 2012

Cybernetic diva Janelle Monáe made a pilgrimage to her hometown of Kansas City lately and in an interview with Back to Rockville-the music blog of the Kansas City Star–revealed plans to release not one but two proper full-length albums in 2012, releases that apparently already have set release dates. Always sticking to her Archandroid protocol, Janelle put it like this:

I will release them according to my soul clock…But I will try to stick to the scheduled release dates, which I know but can’t say. I would say 84.799 percent of the writing is done.

Monáe goes on to talk about performing alongside Jill Scott and other in Oslo next week for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Read more with the full Q&A at BTR.
