Hey, we know those dudes.
Philly-based, globally-manifested DJ (and now super-producer) Wesley “Diplo” Pentz had a book of his international exploits published by Universe today under the title 128 Beats Per Minute. The premise is simple: photog Shane McCauley followed Wes from his Mad Decent block parties in Philadelphia to gigs in Kingston, Tel Aviv and Hong Kong–among others (see Trinidad, above with frequent LargeUp contributor Jillionaire and watch the trailer below). Writer Alexander Wang provided the foreword and Friedrich Nietzsche provided the philosophical underpinnings. Seriously. Purchase the book via Amazon and in other Diplo-related lolz watch “Diplo Hates You” after the jump (and don’t miss Wes in his role as the laser in Major Lazer at the Roots Picnic)
