According to The Sun and other UK publications, Mitch Winehouse is in talks with various TV companies about airing a tribute concert for his daughter--the late, great singer Amy Winehouse--slated for this summer. Proceeds from the pay-per-view event would go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which was set up in her memory to “support charitable activities in both the UK and abroad that provide help, support or care for young people, especially those who are in need by reason of ill health, disability, financial disadvantage or addiction.” There have been reports of a deal with British broadcaster ITV but an anonymous source quoted by The Sun calls those claims "premature," going on to say:

All options are open at the moment but one idea is to make fans pay a few quid to watch the concert. Big artists will be booked from both sides of the Atlantic so people will want to see it. It will be a huge event.
A summertime concert would also coincide with  the 2012 Olympics in London, and therefore an influx of travelers and press headed to the UK, where Winehouse's posthumous LP Lioness: Hidden Treasureswent number 1 on the LP charts within a week of it's December release.
