Okayplayer TV: Little Dragon Live at the Roots Picnic 2011

Welcome back to OKPTV land. Drake is not the only one round here who’s been geeked about Little Dragon for a minute. We at OKP have, of course, been longtime fans — not to mention the thousand-plus fools who lost their minds at their Roots Picnic performance last month. In this latest OKPTV episode our intrepid crew sit down with the Yukimi, Erik, Fred & Hakan for an in-depth discussion backstage–and grabbed some crisp footage of “Please Turn” and “Feather” live onstage!

Little Dragon shines vividly in this video, takes me back to the previous selftitled masterpiece. December got my soul natured by rythmic & melodic vibes of the Soulstress & also Constant Surprises got my toe taptoeing the whole way thru…Little Dragon’s the Bomb!

The music likes of this site never ever cease to amaze me. It’s like yall entered my brain. i LOVE Little Dragon, especially the first album, and just never really play them around people who don’t have my musical taste. But i find when people DO have my taste in music in say hip-hop or soul, it’s easy to get each other on other genres of music we like. And that’s maybe why i shouldn’t be surprised people on this site like Little Dragon, or other artists like Jamiroquai, 4hero, etc.. But it does still amaze me.
