Spring has sprung, which means more events and more fun.

The gang gang at Okayplayer have linked up with the tribe at Okayafrica for a night of cinema, performances, and dialogue centered on the film Garden of Eden.

Hosted by Vanessa Newman, we will open up Okay Space on Mar. 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to show directors Imani Dennison and Robin Williams‘ project about coming-of-age as a queer / gay black person in New York City.

After the film, we’ll feature performances by EL TSID, Nia & Ness and Rum.Gold, with tunes from DJ Adair. In addition to the good chunes, our OkayMuva columnist, Myles E. Johnson, will lead a discussion with the cast and crew of Garden of Eden.

Act now since seating will be limited! RSVP at OkayEden and keep in mind the suggested donation of $10 – $15 at the door.
