Obama's Last White House Party: Stevie Wonder, Beyoncé, Oprah & More

President Obama's List Of Sci-Fi Classics Is Good But Predictable

Looks like President Obama is getting the best of the best for his final White House party.

According to a report from The Washington Post, the Obama party will feature prominent artists and entertainers such as Beyoncé, Jay Z, Oprah Winfrey, Usher, Bradley Cooper and more. Stevie Wonder, J.J. Abrams and George Lucas are also rumored to be in attendance.

Obama has been known to have some memorable parties by the look of it. Both Questlove and Dave Chappelle have recounted their own experiences at an Obama party, and BET gave us a glimpse into that party late last year.

Three weeks ago Obama delivered his final press conference, where he spoke on the accomplishments he and his team made throughout his eight years as president, as well as expanding the Democratic Party.

"The thing we have to spend the most time on because it's the thing we have the most control over is: How do we make sure we are showing up in places where I think Democratic policies are needed, where they are helping, where they are making a difference," Obama said.

Following the final White House party, the POTUS will then give his farewell speech on January 10 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Admission will be free and tickets will be released this Saturday (January 7) on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you cannot attend in person, the event will also be live streamed from the White House's official website.

"In 1796, as George Washington set the precedent for a peaceful, democratic transfer of power, he also set a precedent by penning a farewell address to the American people," Obama said in a statement coinciding with the event. "And over the 220 years since, many American presidents have followed his lead...Since 2009, we've faced our fair share of challenges, and come through them stronger. That's because we have never let go of a belief that has guided us ever since our founding — our conviction that, together, we can change this country for the better."
