A long time coming, Neneh Cherry just dropped "Blank Project", the debut single off her first solo record in nearly 16 years baring the same name. Tapping Four Tet to produce the EP, this marks the first major departure from Neneh's trademark post-punk and more hip-hop oriented material, implementing minimalism to the nth degree to build lush melodies and structurally sound electronic compositions, "Blank Project" being the epitome of those sentiments. The record is a collaborative effort between Neneh and RocketNumberNine and includes a guest spot from Swedish pop sensation Robyn. With the EP dropping February 25th of next year, we've got plenty of time to catch up with the Brit-punk pioneer, but you can certainly get started by peeping her debut single "Blank Project" below.
