Video: Nas Performs Live at The 2012 ESPY Awards

Clearly the highlight of last night’s ESPYS award show was my 49ers taking home the award for best game of the year… but for the purposes of this blog I’m gonna guess y’all came here to see that Nas‘ performance. Watch a suited up Nasir run through “Nasty,” “The Don,” and “Summer On Smash” with Swizz Beatz while backed up by DJ Green Lantern and a full band. Unfortunately, while Nas was rippin’ the stage, his new LP was getting ripped and uploaded online – though I urge y’all to wait ’til the 17th and cop Life Is Good (well worth the wait).

It could be me…..but the audience did not in the least look comfortable. I don’t think I have ever seen so many stiff people in my life.

I don’t understand why they were standing up if they were just going to stand there. I know he is an amazing artisit to see in person they were shocked but goodness at least move your head. But who goes to the ESPYS anyway.
