Music lovers around the world have shown their appreciation for the Fugees-sampled "Nas Album Done," and today DJ Khaled got kudos from perhaps the most important person herself: Ms. Lauryn Hill.

"Nas Album Done" samples The Fugees' hit song "Fu-Gee-La," and in a post on her Apple Music Connect account, Fugees co-founder Ms. Hill thanked DJ Khaled for paying homage to her and the group on the song.

"DJ Khaled, thank you for that acknowledgment, and thank you and Nas for blessing up the chune lol. Fugee-La was a special song for us. I have fond memories of us and Salaam recording that song," she wrote, referring to frequent Nas collaborator and longtime producer Salaam Remi. She then added that her son, Zion, recently created something over "Fugee-La" as well.

"There must be something in the air," she said.

"May God bless your family and the arrival of your new child. I also remember that Humble Lion show! Grace and peace to both of you."

808-Ray and Cool & Dre co-produced "Nas Album Done," a song from DJ Khaled's album Major Key, which samples the melodies of "Fu-Gee-La" and Hill's voice. In an interview with Complex, Nas said he texted her to get her approval. "I just wanted to get her blessing and we were good," he said.

Hill's kudos come days after she announced new tour dates, and after Austin City Limit hosted a special broadcast of Hill performing "Mystery of Iniquity."
