MOSCOT & Black Thought Team To Fund Change w/ Limited-Edition 'GRUNYA' Shades
MOSCOT and Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter have joined forces to create the GRUNYA for Tariq Trotter shades - a limited edition black tortoise frame that offers fans a chance to get their hands on some of Thought's cool while giving to a good cause. The charitable collaboration has designated 100% of proceeds made from the sale of the shades to be split between the MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation and the GrassROOTS Community Foundation. Each pair of frames purchased from the 300 piece collection is numbered for authenticity and gold stamped with Black Thought's signature. The first 100 people to pre-order the frames will be invited to attend a live show featuring Black Thought and special performances from surprise guests. The show on February 12th will be held at the Moscot Gallery & Musicspace inside MOSCOT's Orchard Street shop in New York City. The shades will be available for pick-up on the night of the show. Along with the limited-edition frames, fans will also get the chance to win a pair of tickets to a live taping of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Customers unable to attend the exclusive New York City performance will begin shipping on February 13th, 2015.
